End-of-August Thrift Finds

If you know me, you would know that I am big fan of Jack Kerouac, and not only am I in love with his writings and poems, but I'm also trying to expand my book shelves with actual books that I can highlight and write comments on, because writing notes on library books gives me a certain guilt. What surprise did I recieve when I visited Goodwill last week and came upon this biography (which I have never read) of Jack Kerouac. I decided to pick up some glassware as well which was down the aisle from the book, which was conveniently placed next to the men's ties. I also found this blue polka dot tie. To be honest, every time I'm on the look out for something, I decide to just wait because it is as if the Thrift gods are always on my side and decide to let me come upon items on my wish list. In this case, a blue polka dot tie that I will be able to match with anything I own.
1. Jack Kerouac biography; $1.94
2. Polka Dot blue tie; $2.04
3. Short glasses; 3x .99 cents.

Currently listening to: "The Witching Hour" by Wild Nothing.
